Water skiing is a surface water sport in which an individual is pulled behind a boat or a cable ski installation over a body of water, skimming the surface on two skis or one ski. Even adults first learning to ski can feel like their being split from the groin up. Skiing on two skis will work muscle groups in your legs and back that don’t normally see that much stress. Water skiing requires a lot of balance and coordination skills. With practice, you’ll improve your balance and develop stronger coordination skills, which will benefit your joints, muscles, and overall health.
